Soooo, our sweet girl Sonny-Ann turned 1 October 1st. I can not believe how big she is and it is so much fun to see her developing personality. There is no doubt in our mind that she is going to be out-going just like her dad. See, I can be out going but I have to warm up to you or the crowd first, where as Jacob can walk into a room with absolutely nobody he knows and be comfortable and even be the life of the party.... That is Sonny-ann!!! The poor girl didn't stand a chance though, the day that 10pd 6on. bundle of joy came into this world, there were a ton of family members and friends waiting on her arrival just in the waiting room!! She has been such a blessing in our lives and she was definitely unexpected.... I truly believe that even though she was unexpected, God knew we would need her smile and the laughter she brings us during this trial in our lives.

We had Sonny-Ann's 1st year pictures done by an "almost best friend of mine"... So sorry everyone that was an inside joke for Leighanne Arthur who took the most amazing pictures of our sweet girl... If anyone is looking for a photographer ,Leighanne is not only an amazing photographer but an amazing women to get to know. She has taken all of sonny-ann's pictures and Sonny-Ann won a calendar contest with one her newborn pictures that Leighanne took... IM TELLING YOU, she is good!

We had a birthday party for sweet girl on Oct. 4th and could not be more grateful for those who came and loved on our precious girl.
Unfortunately I grew up with a mother that went overboard on birthdays and I caught that gene... no but seriously my mom always made birthdays so awesome, always waking me up and telling me what time I was born and telling me how much joy I brought to her life from that time and on. Parties where always off the chain and I apologize to my parents for all the slumber parties that I requested and for having to hear 7th grade girls screaming and yelling through out your house.... If y'all are reading this, you know who you are! Basically what Im trying to say is that for my 1 Year old little girl, I might have went over board.... one of my dear friends had the same problem and she expressed to me something very profound and for me it justified the birthday craziness. PICTURES, she will see pictures of her 1st birthday and she will see how much her family loves her and wanted to celebrate her. Thanks Maggie!
Everyone kept asking what her birthday theme was going to be and I couldn't decide between elephants, flowers, or carnival... sooooo I just added it all together!!

Thank you to everyone who came to show love to our sweet girl, it was a great distraction for Jacob and Myself. Sonny-Ann is so blessed to have so much family to love and support her!! We love you all and God Bless
