Well everyone, this week has been a long one... with WBC low, a trip to the hospital for Fluids and nausea medicine, me working three twelve hour night shifts, football game, and a 5th quarter has led me to see that i'm pooped. lol Don't get me wrong it hasn't been an awful week just an exhausting one.
Jacob has been pretty tired and has a hard time keeping up because he ends up getting nauseous when he gets to tired and then he is out for the count! We keep reminding ourselves that we are so close to the finish line and we can hardly wait
On a positive note First Baptist put on a 5th quarter after the football game and we could not be more pleased with how it turned out... 2 salvations and around 70 kids that were not apart of our youth that we got to have connections with, it was amazing!! We had so many helpers and it would not be possible for Jake and I to have done any of it without all of them... Leadership Leadership Leadership is what we are seeing growing within our church... everyone wanting opportunities to serve and it is amazing to be a part of it all...don't get me wrong it was exhausting watching around 150 kiddos give or take but worth every hour of sleep that we missed.
Jacob was pretty wiped out after all the commotion and was not feeling well this saturday morning so he stayed home to recoup from the night and at about 2 he decided that he wanted go to do something we had been talking about for awhile and that was to go to the Dallas Arboretum's Pumpkin Patch Family Fun day... He will probably not get to be here this friday to take sonny-ann trick-or-treating if he feeling up to coaching this friday so he wanted to go and be apart of that with her. We got there around 4 and it was so beautiful and Sonny-Ann had a blast!! We took Dyl-pickle, Danny, Donnie, and Jacobs parents with us and we all enjoyed the fun. Jacob was tired but enjoyed watching his family have fun and loved being outside instead of cooped up in our house. Here are the pics :)
