My brother and I are very close in Age so we have had our birthdays together since I can remember... Anywhere from our back yard to the Skating Rink with bubbles the clown. I'm 24 years old , married , and about to have my first child and he is now 23, a big time welder for construction company and still its a foreign concept when someone ask if we are going to have our birthdays separately. The answer is always NOOO
Unfortunately for my brother this means that other big events have happened at these parties other than birthday partying since everybody is together :)
August 28, 2010 was our birthday party for his 20th and my 21st and also the day that I got engaged to my wonderful husband. I hate to say it but I stole a little bit of his thunder that day.
September 7, 2013 was our birthday for his 23rd and my 24th and also the day my wonderful sister Laresa got engaged to my new almost brother-in-law... so she got to steal some thunder too lol!!
He told us that on my Laresa's birthday when he finds the right girl he would propose and on mine he would announce that they are having a baby just to get back at us... I think he loves being able to be a part of it all though!
We did have a lot of fun for our birthday this year and loved seeing our sister get engaged to a wonderful guy and was excited to welcome him and his 5yr old twin boys into our family!

AFTERWARDS....it was time for a dip in the pool and it was awesome!! I'm 9 months pregnant and it is a rare moment when I feel light as a feather... Pools are amazing
